Dr Peter Dennis, Programme Director
Dr Peter Dennis is a philosopher and educator who helps young people think ethically about contemporary global problems. He is a housemaster and head of department at Brighton College, having previously taught philosophy and public policy at the London School of Economics. His work has been published in leading academic journals including Mind, Ratio, and Synthese.
Sir Anthony Seldon, Patron
Sir Anthony Seldon is an historian and educator who has been Headmaster at Brighton College, Wellington College, and Epsom College. He also served as Vice Chancellor of Buckingham University and set up the Wellington Academy. Sir Anthony is the founder of AI for Education, which empowers schools through responsible AI adoption and training. He is the author of over 45 books, including The Fourth Education Revolution: Will AI Liberate or Infantilise Humanity? He is also the biographer of Number Ten Downing Street.

Alok Jha

Alok Jha is an journalist, author, and broadcaster. He is Science and Technology Editor at the Economist and host of the Babbage podcast.
He is the author of three books on popular science, including How to Live Forever and 34 Other Really Interesting Uses of Science. Alok has also been a science correspondent for ITV News and a writer and editor at the Guardian. In 2018, he took up a Wellcome Trust Fellowship in order to develop new and engaging formats for science journalism. -
Pinar Ozcan

Pinar Ozcan is Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Oxford University’s Said Business School. She is also the academic director of the Oxford Entrepreneurship Centre and the Oxford Future of Finance and Finance Technology (Fintech) Initiative. Pinar has served in advisory roles working with regulatory authorities such as the Bank of England, UK Competition and Markets Authority, UK Financial Conduct Authority, the European Commission, and the (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) OECD on these topics. -
Jacob Turner
ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER
Jacob Turner is an author, barrister, and leading authority on the regulation of emerging technologies. As a barrister, he has worked on numerous high profile cases involving algorithmic bias, privacy, AI ethics, and driverless cars. His book, Robot Rules, argues for greater government regulation of artificial intelligence and sets out a comprehensive framework for doing so. Jacob has advised foreign governments on AI policy, and has lectured at universities including Oxford, Cambridge, and Kings College London.
