Essay Competition
FTL invites submissions to its annual essay competition
This year’s competition will open on 15 October 2024, with submissions due on 1 February 2025. The competition is free to enter, and is open to students in Year 12. Essays should be 1500 words or fewer. The winners will be announced in March 2025. They will receive a scholarship to FTL 2025 and cash prize.
First Prize: £500 scholarship & £100 cash
Second Prize: £250 scholarship & £50 cash
Third Prize: £125 scholarship & £25 cash
Means-tested bursaries may also be available for prizewinners.
